I've been crocheting for awhile now. Long enough to get a bit bored with it. I think I'll tackle something with a bit more challenge to it. I've been looking at beaded crochet and it may be something to try. I like the beaded amulet pouch and it's supposed to be easy. Sounds like a plan! Stay tuned.

I bought a new bike, Electra Townie, golden yellow (so they can see me coming) with a black seat and grips and it's really great. Nephew Bill calls it the Bee, as in bumblebee. God knows I need the exercise. It has the Flat Foot technology so you can remain seated on the bike and put your feet on the ground. It's great if you haven't been on a bike for some time (like me) and are a little nervous on the roadway. I've been riding for about a month now and am regaining some of the confidence I used to have. The bike lanes in our city go from end to end and all through the neighborhood so I have plenty of areas to ride in. There are also trails designated for bikes so the area I live in is very bike friendly.
